# WordPress Plugin Directory Still Alive?

 * Is the wordpress.org plugin directory ([http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/))
   still in use? I’ve submitted a plugin to it several times without receiving the
   expected email response. Are most folks using some other WordPress plugin repository
   instead?

 * Thanks GamerZ. What happens is I submit the plugin info using the form, come 
   back a few days later, and the request is gone. I don’t know if they’re just 
   deleting my request without contacting me, it’s expiring, they’re having spam
   problems, or what. Been doing this for a few weeks now. Was this your experience?

 * nope, once you submitted you should see your plugin below the form stating waiting
   for approval.
 * try resubmitting it again if that is the case
