# WordPress Plug Ins, DB, & server transfer

 * Hello, I have been hard at work on my company utilizing wordpress and a lot of
   plug ins for a while now. I have done all my development initially on my local
   machine on purpose for speed and ease of implementation.
 * Now, however, I am looking at migrating my WP site to my hostgator web server.
   In reading through wp migration to another server, I noticed that wp transfer
   requires copying over the wp db.
 * My question is, do wordpress plug ins use the wordpress DB? And are there any
   considerations I should make in transfering over my server? Thanks.
