# WordPress Permalink Issue

 * We have 2 situations here.
    We have this url structure on a website **website.
   com/post-name**, but while shifting to the new server, these urls changed to **
   website.com/2022-1/post-name**, and **post-name** automatically redirected to
   the new version.
 * As this was not an intentional change so we want to change it back to the original
   version, so we changed the permalink back to **post-name**, but now the old urls
   with **/2022-1/post-name** does not redirect automatically to **post-name**. 
   Please advise.

 * you can create a redirection rule in htaccess or redirect urls using a redirection
   plugin
