# WordPress Page Load Priority?

 * Im trying to change the way the page loads because the videos on my home page
   make it take way too long to load. If you go to ecitymatch.com you can see how
   slow it loads. I am using the “RightNow” theme from themeforest.com. Please any
   help is much appreciated.

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.

 * Yeah, Ive tried deactivating all the plugins. What I really want is the page 
   to load 1 video at a time.

 * Try creating a [child theme](http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes), editing
   the [relevant template file(s)](http://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Development)
   in your child and replacing `<?php the_content();?>` with `<?php the_excerpt();?
   >`. This should hide all of the videos on the post listing pages and only show
   them on the single post pages. However, as you are using a commercial theme, 
   you need to seek further support with this from the theme’s developer/vendor.
   We do not support commercial themes here.
