# wordpress.org: Missing confirmation e-mail on update

 * Hello,
 * I tried to edit my _wordpress.org_ e-mail-address, but there is a problem.
    Currently
   I’m using my old gmail.com address. But when changing to my new address, I don’t
   get any confirmation e-mail on my new address.
 * Changing to another gmail address works fine (just added ‘+1’ to my old address,
   which Google redirects to the same address). So I guess it is with my e-mail 
   provider… But I never had a problem like this with it.
    But there is nothing 
   in spam, at the top of the edit page there is also “There is a pending email 
   address change to …”, but the confirmation mail is still missing.
 * Can someone here confirm the confirmation e-mail really got sent (and maybe message
   me about it)? In the meantime I’ll bug my e-mail provider a little more.

 * Yes, email that address.
 * Many people confuse wordpress.org with their own copy of wordpress. So it really
   is necessary to ask.

 * Update:
    My email provider states that there is no restriction on the wordpress
   mail servers. Other users get emails from them, but they can’t see any attempted
   delivery for my account. I’ve retried changing my email address, but there is
   still no confirmation email incoming. At the top of the profile page it states(
   as always): `There is a pending email address change to <<my name (hidden)>>@tutanota.
   com` I’ve asked the [forum-password-resets@wordpress.org](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wordpress-org-missing-confirmation-e-mail-on-update/forum-password-resets@wordpress.org?output_format=md),
   if they can verfiy that an email was sent around the time of the change. And 
   now I’m waiting for an answer once again.
