# WordPress or WordPress MU?

 * I have to set up a new site for an organisation and I think that what they want
   can be achieved in WordPress.
 * I have used WordPress on several other site but I have never used MU.
 * One of their requirements is for about 30 people to be able to edit their own
   personal page BUT no one else’s. Is this achievable in normal WordPress with 
   one of the membership plug-ins or would I be better off looking at MU for this?
   If using standard WordPress which plug-in do you recommend?

 * Standard WordPress lets you set users to “Author” and they can only edit their
   own Posts. Don’t know about Pages but should be easy to check, just create a 
   new user with Author privileges and see if they can make a page.

 * Yeah, I think WordPress MU would probably be overkill for what you’re trying 
   to achieve; MU is really for if multiple users need to be able to set up fully-
   functioning blogs.

 * The Members and Adminimize plugins are great for things like that.
