[Resolved] WordPress or not to wordpress

  • I have a website that is straight up HTML.
    http://sixties60s.com
It does about 1000 pageviews a day and has been active for 3 years.

My question is if yall think it would do better using blog software, like in an SEO sense. If you check it out you will see it has lots of multimedia content. Would the big job, of moving it into WordPress help generate traffic?

I know blog software because I run a 3000 Pageview a day blog for 5 years using Serendipity S9Y. So I know a bit about how things work.

  • WordPress of course!

i am using wp as cms with >28.500 pageview a day, and working perfectly.

    Whats CMS?

CMS is an acronym for “content management system”.

WordPress on its own won’t generate traffic, but it can make it easier for you to optimize your site

If you took on this project and used a good ‘magazine’ style theme, your site would look so much better. It has so much great content it would be wonderful to highlight that content with a beautiful WP theme.

I do need another set of eyes to see things differently than I do as I am so used to how it looks. Any advice on theme or how best to navigate?

I was thinking maybe use virtual domains for EACH YEAR under the real domain, and then for each year have the 7 categories, and then mate each little news bit with graphic or video an article?
