WordPress Optimalization for Google (Mobile responsiveness, Page insights)

    Hello,

    I am trying to optimise some issues (shown by Google) – assuming that it will help the website to have better overall ranking. I am using the latest free OceanWP theme with the latest WordPress.

    Here are my issues:

    1) Mobile Responsiveness: Google says that my website is not fully-compatible with the mobile device. Assuming that OceanWP is one of the best themes out there for WP (I have checked the site on mobile and it loks fine), so it might be just a question of some specific settings?

    2) Page Insights: The results from this test are really poor.
    I would be happy, if someone would help me to generally improve this. I prefer plugins before code injections (but this is also fine, if I will be instructed). Actually, I will welcome any set of plugins which will help me to rank my site better and help the overall performance. I am now using Smush plugging for compressing content + WP The Fastest Cache.

    Hello,

    1. Yes, the site is fully responsive, I don’t know why Google tell you this.

    2. There are many things to do to improve site speed, first I would recommend cropping images as there are the thing who take more time to load, so crop them and compress them. Then you can use a plugin like WP Rocket which is the best caching plugin for WP, but the most important thing is to be on a great host like Cloudways, Kinsta, Themecloud, SiteGround, etc…
