WordPress on the root, can it “ignore” a subdirectory?

  • Hi!

To clarify, I’m not asking how to install with SVN or put wordpress in the root directory.

I had wordpress on .com/blog, then moved it to .com. The problem is, now when I try to use my .com/svn/projects links, it looks for a wordpress page instead of my SVN! How can I tell WP to ignore the SVn directory?

    Thank You,
    John

It should ignore them by default. WordPress’ rewrite rules only cover directories and pages that don’t physically exist.
