# WordPress on PC’s host

 * hi i installed Apache,PHP and MySQL on my PC
    all works fine except one problem
 * When i type it:
    [http://localhost/wordpress/](http://localhost/wordpress/) then
   press enter the browser gives me a list of all my files in this dir instead of
   my blog and type [http://localhost/wordpress/index.php](http://localhost/wordpress/index.php)
   doesnt help too

 * Are you receiving any error while browsing the following link:
 * [http://localhost/wordpress/index.php](http://localhost/wordpress/index.php)
 * Also, upload sample PHP script and see if it works on not. Most likely there 
   is some configuration problem. As suggested by Samboll, you can use Xampp. It
   is easy to use and there is no manual configuration required.

 * no,no error PHP works I’ve checked
    but i am going to try XAMPP
