# wordpress not working on LAN

 * Hi Folks, I am stuck here with strange issue.
    I have installed wordpress on 
   CentOS 5.2. It works fine on localhost (CentOS machine), but when i try to browse
   the site from another machine on the same LAN using CentOS’s IP address i get
   error ‘the page cannot be displayed’. I desperately need help.

 * You need to change your site url and blog url to the servers ip address instead
   of localhost.

 * Thanks Jeremy, that worked. Now I want to make it public. I have port forwarded
   on my router and can see my other stuff from outside but not wordpress. I am 
   using RHEL 5 by the way. any tweak that you can suggest?

 * heres the solution. You have to put the WAN ip (if you are using port forwarding)
   in your blog url to make it work.
