    Good Afternoon Everyone,

Last week I wanted to upgrade my WordPress to version 2.7.1 so I started to follow the steps detailed in the forum by doing a backup of the MySQL database and I also took the opportunity to make a full backup of the site, from the CPanel interface. Right after having done that, I noticed that the blog was down due to a Warning Error in the mysql database, so I restored it but since then the blog is not visible to Internet Explorer users:

In Firefox, Opera, etc everything is fine…

I would greatly appreciate if somebody could give me some help on solving this problem.

    Regards, Alexandre

    Works in IE5, IE6, IE7 and IE8 for me…

Have your IE users clear out temp files or cookies relating to your site.

Thanks for your replies, but I think I have been consice enough in the description of the problem.

Open the page in Firefox and check out the Blog page (the WordPress part of the site)… Now open it again in IE, and you will see that the posts are not appearing, just the title “Sortie au lac avec mon pote Doudou – 19.01.09” , but nothing after it.

If you click on the posts from Internet Explorer, you cannot view the content.

It is because you cut and pasted directly from Word. You need to use the “paste from Word” button in the editor or use the “Publish” feature in Word.

Pasting directly from Word intoduces incompatible code.
