# WordPress not updating

 * Since I did the update provided by WordPress I have to resubmit hyperlinks several
   times, make any changes several times and resave articles constantly.
 * Anyone else having issues since the last upgrade?

 * My 1 site I did not update is running ok.

 * It’s just a real pain. Wish they would send another update to fix it.

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
 * – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a **fresh** download
   of WordPress.

 * It didn’t resolve my problems, but since the update I am getting the following
   errors from all 3 updated sites on my host cgi-error log:
 * **PHP Warning: Unknown: open(/var/php_sessions/sess_6388aaaa3f32a3a59290fb888a5ab936,
   O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in Unknown on line 0**
 * My session folder is empty, but does have the right permissions (0755).
 * I am curious to know what changed in the last update to cause this.

 * Yes I’ve tried several approaches but for some reason I was an idiot and did 
   the most recent updates and the version is working even worse.
 * How would I deactivate the most recent two updates?
