WordPress not Saving Changes , for gallery and other widgets

    hi, so , i am really stuck and about ready to give up on WP all together.

    i am trying to create a gallery page for my website, and i cannot get wp TO SAVE any changes i make to a blank page. Every time i put the gallery widget in and click update it just gets rid of all changes and makes it a blank page.

    I do not know what is causing this?? i am a total noob and this is making it impossible for me to follow you tube tutorials for my theme etc.

    I am using ibuki theme and i DO have a flag that says WPBakery Visual Composer is out of date, but I cannot update it for free because it came with my theme and WP BAKERY is stupid and says that i have to wait for theme creator to push update to me. idk if that is what is causing the issue or if it is on WP side.

    changes and updates were working FINE a few months ago. But i also notice WP updated recently??

    any help can be useful i really need to try and make a gallery. but if i can’t figure it out i maybe just have to go to another platform for my website.

    Hi @carolradiance ,
    Sorry to hear about your frustration.

    If this was working just fine some time ago, and you recently updated WP core, chances are that the new editor included in latest relases of WP (called Gutenberg editor) is conflicting with your current stack.

    Try the following:
    Install Classic Editor plugin from here https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/
    Activate this new plugin, and test again.

    Please let me know if that works.
