Because I always want www be removed from my domain, I installed wp htaccess control, changed some settings and saved. After this, my installation is not accessible anymore. I tried deleting (renaming) my htaccess and visiting the permalinks section, but that did not work. (it doesn’t reach the permalink section anyway, since I cannot access my dashboard anymore).
It seems there is still some redirection magic going on somewhere, since it appends www to the url when I type it in without and redirects me to http://www.domain.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%domain.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 when I try to login to domain.com/wp-admin. Even when htaccess is removed/renamed.
How can I revert wordpress to the original state?
