I’m a wordpress newbie in a beginning web design course at school, with maybe a week’s worth of experience in HTML and CSS. I have two days to finish and present a mockup website, and my teacher has geared the cource more towards installing widgets and choosing typography than actual web design.
I’m using the expound theme to create an onion-style satirical gaming journalism website called completelyseriousgames. After adding featured posts to the front page, I noticed that my sidebar got shoved down below the main body of the page. Is there any way I can change this to return the sidebar to the right side of the page? Please explain this like I’m 5, like I said this teacher waited until the end of the course to even tell us what HTML and CSS are.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Do you have any ‘</div>‘ elements in your featured posts? Look at the “text” tab when editing a post.

I think that you need to add a few more posts.

If you look at the theme preview ( for some reason I can’t find a theme demo), you’ll see that the sidebar is below the featured content.

Try testing your site with 10 – 20 posts to see what it will look then.

    Nope, no <div>s.

Eh, scratch the whole thing. Decided to use SilverOrchid instead.
