 * Hey.
    I Have installed wordpress and configure it so I can use mu. Users can
   register, the page is created in the tables in the database too but the subdomain
   will not work. I’m just being redirected to mamp’s common placeholder page. The
   link does not work so users can not turn on their blog.
 *  Anyone have anything suggestions?
 * Best Regards

 * You’re using MAMP. You have to manually add in the subdomain to your hosts file.
   Or use subfolders.

 * I have added a wildcard dns in my host file. Shouldn’t this could be done automatically?

 * MAMP means you have a LOCAL install. i.e. on your PC.

 * I am having the same problem. I want to allow wordpress users to automatically
   create subdomains that work right away withought having to go into my cpanel
   and host server and creating a subdomain there.
 * Did you figure out how to do it?
 * Regards,

 * I think that part is done adding wildcard *.domain.ext, Tyson.

 * Awesome, I went into my DNS and added A *.domain.com and it worked!
    Subdomains
   automatically work when created through WordPress! No need to create in cpanel
   first anymore. Sweet!
