# WordPress multisite sub domain not working

 * The web hosting site where i hosted wordpress site offered only one sub domain,
   then is this possible to create wordpress multisite sub domain in it? If yes ,
   then how i configure wordpress 3.0.1 to work sub domain? If not , then how to
   change to sub directory?
 * Please help me.

 * Based on your description I would guess enabling multisite is not possible. Can
   you edit your server’s httpd.conf file?

 * Subdomains using the network function are _virtual_.
    And jkovis’ link misses
