# Multisite Questions?

 * I need to make a multisite within my WordPress dashboard so I can make other 
   sites. I did watch some YouTube videos on this area and did some research. Need
   to make sure before I move ahead.
 * 1. I realize I have to modify my .htaccess & wp-config.php files. I have my main
   site done and ready to be put online. When I do that, I will not mess up my current
   site or lose it?
 * 2. When I put my site online, it does not matter how my Permalinks are now before
   my site goes online?
 * 3. My site will look, [http://www.mydomain.com](http://www.mydomain.com) ?

    First create your normal wordpress site, make a backup, and then follow 
   this: [https://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network](https://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network)
   You need to use pretty permalinks, as it is described in the link I provided.
   Your site will become the main site of the network, its address will be the same.
