WordPress Multisite Follow Blog – Feed 'Reader' Plugin

    Hi,
    I am creating a website with Multisite (and BuddyPress), with open user registration and site registration and I want users to have the ability to subscribe/follow blogs/sites.
    Just like wordpress.com, tumblr etc.
    And have a ‘Reader’ page where they could watch the activity of the blogs they follow.

    I found a plugin called Reader by WPMUDEV that I think do that job.
    (Also I would prefer if the ‘Reader’ doesn’t sit on the dashboard/backend)

    But I was hoping for any free solutions..
    Or if you know any other way to accomplish that.

    It seems weird not finding a plugin like this.

    (I am developing locally, just so you know)

    This is the first time I post here.
    Feel free to recommend/advice with any posting standards I missed.

    Hey Kostas,

    Unfortunately, I do not know of a free plugin that does this. I looked high and low for about a year for similar functionality until finally WPMUDEV created one. I would say if you have the cash, go ahead and try out that paid plugin since it does what you are looking for. Good luck!
