  • I’ve been soaking up everything I can find about WordPress and I’m lovin’ it. I’m even thinking of porting my LiveJournal over… but I digress.

I’m in the process of setting up a website that will have several users posting stories. Every so often there will be a conglomerate “big” edition that I’ve set aside to be separate Pages. I’ve bent and tweaked a lot of things to get to where I am, but it’s getting tiresome.

Here’s what I’m trying to accomplish:

Posts will all have two halfs, an English and a German copy. I was thinking of having two MySQL tables with _eng and _ger then filtering via a $_GET variable, but it’s so tedious. Is there a way to set this up semi-painlessly? Or perhaps run two WordPresses, one in an /eng/ directory and one in a /ger/ directory, but they use the same user database?

    Any help is appreciated 🙂
