Hi I would like to ask if it is possible to create two subdomains and point it to one blog, example
    pinkblog.multisite.com
blogpink.multisite.com to be the same blog.

    Thank you,
    Julie

  • Sure, you can add any domain/subdomain to one of your sub-blogs with the domain mapping plugin:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-mu-domain-mapping/

Only one of them will be the primary domain – the rest will redirect.

If you want multiple identical sites with different domains, but all pointing to the exact same site, this is not what multisite is for.

    …the rest will redirect.

Whoops, I should have mentioned that. 🙂

If you’re looking to have both subdomains work, rather than have one redirect to other, it’s not a good idea; search engines will see it as two different sites with duplicate content and it will most likely confuse human visitors. If you don’t already have multisite set-up, there are better ways to map a domain/subomain on the server level. But, if you already have multisite set-up and you’re looking to redirect one subdomain to the other, the domain mapping plugin can do that fairly easily.

Is there way that I can limit that the changes of the domain names will be done only by network admin?
