Hi after a while of not managing my website, i decided its about time i checked up on it and made some updates.

I didnt like the theme i was using and wanted to install a new one but the problem is, i went to my FTP folder and there was no wordpress, nada, nothing.

yet my website still operates? thats not possible.

and im 100% sure my login and host details are correct in the FTP.

  • What folders do you see…

You’d need to go into either public_html or www folder… as i’d guess upon connection your FTP views the root level folders, or perhaps 1 level higher then the web viewable files..

    Hi,

Check FTP user path and it should be set to either wordpress folder or root folder of the domain..in order to view the wordpress files through http://FTP..

you must have to go inside public_html or www/wwwroot folder to check your website live contents..

    Thanks,

    Shane G.
