 * Hi, I have a glitch error when I drop in the “WordPress Menu” block with Elementor
   into a sidebar. Has anyone seen this before? (see website) I’ve tried to recreate
   the sidebar template 3 times, tried changing all the setting and sizes, but nothing
   seems to work. In preview mode it looks ok but when loading the site, the dropdown
   arrow becomes huge, It doesn’t even work on mobile. It has all worked in the
   past but now has changed by itself to this a few days ago and I can’t seem to
   fix it, Thanks in advance.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fwordpress-menu-clitch%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hi,
 * The glitch you’re experiencing with the WordPress Menu block in Elementor might
   be caused by a mixed content issue.

 * Here’s what’s happening: Your website ([https://www.daletravers.com/](https://www.daletravers.com/))
   is secured with HTTPS, which is great for security. However, the Elementor plugin
   is trying to load a stylesheet (widget-nav-menu.min.css) using the insecure HTTP
   protocol. Modern browsers block these mixed content requests to maintain security.
 * This can cause unexpected behavior with the menu block, including the oversized
   dropdown arrow you mentioned.
 * Here’s how to fix the mixed content issue:
 * **1. Use the Elementor “Replace URL” Tool:**
    - Go to **Elementor > Tools > Replace URL**.
    - Enter your old site address (with HTTP) in the first field.
    - Enter your new, secure site address (with HTTPS) in the second field.
    - Click **Replace URL**.
 * **2. Regenerate Elementor Files:**
    - Go to **Elementor > Settings > General**.
    - Click the **Regenerate Files** button.
 * **3. Clear Your Website Cache:** Some caching plugins might hold onto the old
   stylesheet reference. Clear your website cache to ensure it loads the updated
   version.

 * I can’t seem to fix it, I can swap it out with mega menu but it doesn’t work
   the same on mobile or have the same options I want from the basic menu.
