WordPress managed or expert mode

    When I first insisted/installed WordPress on 1&1 hosting, I was asked if I wanted to use expert mode or not. I went for No, which meant I am running some kind of managed mode which operates using drag and drop blocks and user menus.
    Is it possible to revert to the expert mode without having to reinstall and start over?

    Contact 1&1 webhosting support for guidance.
    WordPress doesn’t have “managed” and “expert” mode options.
    Might be a hosting specific option.

    Additionally I should add that I would like to add the WPBakery Page Builder plugin but it doesn’t come up as a visible plugin under the current regime. Any ideas why that would be.
    And yes I will contact them
