• Hello,

I got an issue. I use WordPress macOS app. This is the one I’m talking about.

Wordfence is blocking me to upload the photos through this app. If I disable the firewall, I can upload the photos.

Any idea what could be the issue?

  • Hi @vibhu000,

Can you place the firewall in Learning Mode and then try uploading some files again?

To do this: Go to Wordfence -> Firewall -> Firewall Options, and use the dropdown to change Enabled into Learning Mode.

    Hi Dave,

Thank you. I had also tried that before creating this ticket. These are the things I have done.

Turning on the learning mode – did not solve the issue
Turing off the firewall – did not solve the issue
Deactivating the plugin – solved the issue

I have also whitelisted by IP but that also did not help.

    Sorry for the delay.

Are you still experiencing the issue or did you solve it?

If you’re still seeing the issue, let me know what you’re seeing in the Live Traffic after trying to upload an image.

Also, in Wordfence > Login Security, what do you have selected for Require 2FA for XML-RPC call authentication and the Disable XML-RPC authentication settings?
