# WordPress loses connection to database

 * Self-hosted server – WAMP
 * WordPress will be working fine for a few hours to a day, then suddenly I get 
   the “Error establishing connection to the database” error. All the config settings
   are correct, as it was working for awhile. I have to restart the server for wordpress
   to start working again.
 * Phpmyadmin still works and can see the database while this is happening, and 
   I don’t see any mysql or apache errors that would be causing this.
