# WordPress Loop – Expanded on page

 * Earlier I was looking at trying to add a loop which i managed to do.
 * [http://www.themusicmag.com](http://www.themusicmag.com)
 * I edited the index.php and it works fine.
    However, it looks a bit boring.
 * Any way of automatically taking say the first few lines and posting the loop 
   in a kind of last few posts+a small preview. Or a picture to go with the url.
 * Just a few random thoughts.

 * Okay UPDATE:
 * I edited the index.php and got everything looking how i wanted.
 * BUT!
 * it totally messed with the blog section. Whenever i clicked on a category or 
   tag it just took you to the home page.
 * So i’m back to needing to implement a static front page and have the blog on 
   another page – i tried but then /blogs said there was nothing to display!
