• We have been experiencing a page-loading problem.

Different parts of the page load at different rates. This seems to be much worse with IE (both IE 7 and IE 8) than Firefox. This isn’t a consistent problem with all the pages or even with the same page all of the time. The entire page loads within a few seconds, but it’s definitely annoying. The screencasts below show the annoying page-loading in IE and a much smoother loading in Firefox.

    IE http://screencast.com/t/Nud211lbyZXX
    Firefox http://screencast.com/t/z64RhWsn5

We are using WordPress v3.0, theme Twenty Ten 1.1 running on SUSE Linux 10 SP2, and Apache 2.2.3, MySQL 5.0.26 and PHP 5.2.5, and the following plug-ins:
    Akismet
    Breakcrumb NavXT
    CMS Tree Page View
    Google Calendar Events
    NextGEN Gallery
    Nice Nvigation
    Simple Section Navigation Widget
    Tiny MCE Advanced
    WordPress Mobile Edition
    WP-Cycle
    WP-Print

We deactivated all the plugins on the site and the problem was still there.

Does any one have any suggestions on what might be causing this problem and how we can fix it?

    Thanks!
