# wordpress linkback

 * im just curious how many of you consider not adressing support questions that
   come from ppl that have removed all links back to wordpress from their sites?
   Its become a big bone of contention with me lately..
    I see alot of recent questions,
   one in fact, that I wont point out, that looks like its going to be a site that
   collects $$ and in fact, the button and any mention of wordpress is gone.
 * My argument for leaving the button on, or atleast providing something that identifies
   the software is the same basic one, and yes I realize you cant get your panties
   in a bind over it .. but I have to wonder if the people that provided the most
   support on these forums actually declined and pointed out why, whether or not
   it might make a difference. Then, of course, barring that, there is always, just
   plain old public shame.

 * I presume you’re talking about my site. I think you should have waited for my
   reply, because as I said in my reply to you…I downloaded a theme which didnt 
   have a linkback, and infact I didn’t know that a link back existed…so please 
   remove the big bone of contention from my ass!

 * Oh and there is a mention of wordpress on my site, it’s just not on the blogging
   section. There is a mention on all three other pages of the main site at the 
   bottom, WITH a link back!

 * actually, no I wasnt talking about your site. It was a post asking for support
   relating to a php question, a post that I chose not to reply to.
 * I think you shouldnt assume that yours is the only post Ive read here in the 
   last 5-10 minutes 🙂
