# WordPress limiting image sizes?

 * It appears that WP is limiting image sizes, specifically by height. It is scaling
   down images to maximum height of 2560px. Width is scaled appropriately to maintain
   aspect ratio. I have confirmed this with 5.2.4 and 5.3.
    Or was it always the
   case?
