# WordPress Layout

 * Hi,
 * Can someone tell me if its possible to display only a short part of a post instead
   of the whole post, so instead it shows a small thumbnail picture and then about
   30 lines of text with a … more and when a user clicks more it then shows them
   the contents of the full post?
 * How would someone setup WP to work in the manner above?

 * I guess you are looking for excerpt plugins, but I don’t know if there are any
   with the tumbnail feature that you want. Just have a look at wordpress.org/extend/
   plugins or better yet: Google, since it searches better than the plugins section.
