Is it possible to create a WordPress landing page that points to or links to a Front Page website? Should the Front Page website be set up as a subdomain of the WP landing page installation?

    Sure: http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Static_Front_Page

But … You mean FrontPage as in Microsoft Front Page?

Yes – Microsoft Front Page. Have you ever combined 2 different platforms like this?

    Yes and no.

I themed three platforms (MediaWiki, ZenPhoto and WordPress) to all look the same, where WP is the ‘main’ site and links to the child sites. It’s not really combined, they just look like they are.

So, if I install WP on the same host and create a landing page that includes links over to the MS FrontPage main site, you see no problem with this? The only thing that I need to double check on is that their current host is compatible with WordPress. OK, first, I need to find out who their host is. lol

Thanks so much for helping me think this through!

Yeah, that should be a no-brainer 🙂 Provided you can run WP 😉 Most hosts are.
