WordPress landing page and URL structure

    Hi,

    I would like to have a landing page for my WordPress installation.
    The landing page should show up when navigating to the main domain (e.g. mydomain.com).

    Is there anyway I can have a landing page on the same folder where the WordPress installation is?
    So whenever user navigates to my domain, the user will be redirected to the landing page. on the landing page there will be a link to my actual homepage.
