WordPress kills my VPS
It’s been few months since my VPS started suddenly dying for no obvious reason. Sometimes up to twice a week. Final investigation showed lots of references of wp-admin/admin.php trying to allocate large chunks of memory, eventually causing the VPS to run out of it (512 MB) and die. At first I thought it might be caused by third parties trying to log/hack, so I denied access to wp-admin to everyone except my own IP. And then it happened again. Support says another client is also experiencing the same problem. Anyone else? And is there a solution?
