  • Review Embeds. And don’t use the Visual Editor when adding code to posts or pages.

I never use the visual editor when I add code.

When using the url embed method, how do I change the size of the embed?

Are you switching back& forth between the HTML Tab & the Visual Editor? If so, that will remove your markup.

No, but how do I change the size of the embed? And why would switching between the HTML and visual editor remove it? That’s pretty weak, and hurts my ability to make a post.

Sorry – that’s just the way that the inbuilt TinyMCE editor works. There are other editors available as plugins that may not suffer from the same problem but I’ve not used any of them, so I couldn’t vouch for their usefulness.

Have you managed to get embeds working? Or are you trying to post amended markup for the embeds?

Yes, the embeds are working, but I cannot change their width and height, how do I do that?

A link to a page demonstrating the problem might help.

Well, I see a URL, which creates the embed, but how am I supposed to change the dimensions of the embedded youtube video?

If I link you to a page, it’ll just be a post with a youtube video on it, of which I am not able to change the dimensions.
