  • Ok this issue is super annoying. I am writing a plugin. Within my plugin, I am referencing an external JS file that has jquery code. Everything is going well, but I am noting that WP is caching it like crazy. I have tried everything from using a different browser, deleting the JS file (it still appears!), checking browser settings. Eventually it changes, but it’s NUTS how hard it is to get it to let go of the file. Even if it’s a simple “alert” statement. Does WP have some weird caching thing going on for Jquery? I built the web server from scratch and am 100% certain there aren’t any caching plugins on it either. Any ideas? I would really like for my changes to appear right away. I don’t have any caching plugins installed ether. Thanks!
