# WordPress Issue

 * I am getting multiple issues with WordPress since the last update:
 * Installation failed: Warning: array_merge(): Argument #2 is not an array in /
   public_html/wp-includes/load.php on line 63 {“success”:true,”data”:{“install”:”
   plugin”,”slug”:”toolkit-for-envato”,”pluginName”:”Envato Toolkit”,”activateUrl”:”/

 * Here is another one when trying to update plugins:

 * It may be that the update didn’t complete properly. Go to dashboard->updates 
   and click “reinstall wordpress 4.9.4”.

 * Figured out the issue…The WordPress Update did not properly close the notes in
   the
 * wp-includes/load.php file
 * Notes were opened with // and had no closings…replaced these with”:
 * /* lkdfjdsa;lkjf */
 * Fixed the issue.

 * Do NOT edit core files. If that file were incorrect, we’d have thousands of error
   reports. If that string actually appears on your file, then you’ve been hacked.
 * Get a fresh cup of coffee, take a deep breath and carefully follow [this guide](https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_My_site_was_hacked).
   When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of [the recommended security measures](https://codex.wordpress.org/Hardening_WordPress).
 * If you’re unable to clean your site(s) successfully, there are reputable organizations
   that can clean your sites for you. Sucuri and Wordfence are a couple.

 * Okay, I will have to check my other sites and see if this was a common issue 
   across the board.
