WordPress is not recognizing my e-mail via the support forum. . .

    However, I can log in and out of my admin page using the same credentials.

    What gives is that these forums here and your installation account are not connected in anyway shape or form.

    The account for this forum is independent from your own installation of WordPress and are not connected.
