# WordPress is converting & to &

 * Hi there!
    We have a big issue. When we add the direct link to wp editor, WordPress
   is converting & to & For example, the link /?smd_process_download=1&download_id
   =1507 becomes /?smd_process_download=1&download_id=1507 and in result its broken
   and the file can’t be downloaded. Any solution? Thanks

 * Hi, in your example above I don’t see any difference between both links. Can 
   you clarify what you mean by a direct link? Is this the download link to the 
   file you add in the back end? If it is have you tested adding the full download
   path?
 * i.e [http://your](http://your) files full path?
