 * Hello,
 * I am using a vServer with Debian 6.0 and have the issue that I can not use the
   automatic update option of wordpress (I am not talking about via ftp). PHP and
   MYSQL are up to the requirements. What could it be that it do not work?

 * Hi stoffl,
 * Issue could be a temporary “upgrade” directory with the wp-content directory
   left over from a previous update. Of course make a backup first, but try deleting
   that folder and see if your automatic update works then.
 * Let me know if this works.
