# WordPress Installation Issue?

 * I get the following error and cannot proceed with installing the WordPress.
 * Any help in resolving this issue will be appreciated.
 * Error: PHP is not running
    WordPress requires that your web server is running
   PHP. Your server does not have PHP installed, or PHP is turned off.

 * Its seems PHP is not installed on your web server or its turned off.
 * You need to contact your hosting provider to fix it and if its unmanaged vps/
   server, then you need to install PHP on it.
