# wordpress installation error

 * Hi I just started a new website at ipage, copyexpertise.com and downloaded wordpress
   program from my website control panel. In error I uninstalled the wordpress program
   so l reinstalled it. Now when I try to go to my blog address [http://www.copyexpertise.com/blog](http://www.copyexpertise.com/blog)
   I get a black page with a page not found error. Can you tell me how to fix this?

 * Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting and renaming
   your WordPress .htaccess file. If that works, then try reading [Using_Permalinks](http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks)
   before setting a custom permalink structure again.

 * I used to encounter the same issue before. It seems you did not install your 
   site at the root directory.
