WordPress installation corrupted?

  • JonSoroko

    @jonsoroko

    One of my blogs now brings up a WordPress installation screen – for WP 2.5 – not even the current version.
    Looks OK via FTP – right folders and files.
    In PHPmyadmin – where I’m not too familiar – have just done “repair” and “optimize.”

    But it looks like the “Options” table is corrupted. And that one comment box is open.

    How can this be repaired?

    Thanks to any and all in advance for help.

  • Usually, it is caused by a corrupted wp_options table.
    Did you succeed to repair it?
    If not, try to ask the host… if that doesn’t help either, I am afraid you will have to restore your blog from a DB backup.
