[Resolved] wordpress install – blank pages everywhere

  • hey folks,
I have installed once 3.0 and i even could config db and got in the admin dashboard but when i clicked to activate a theme from the dashboard i started to get blank pages. I checked everything like reinstall 3.0, disabled plugins by renaming like plugin-temp, etc…and still have blank pages….can anyone please give me a hand? 🙂

  • Disable the theme. Delete it and twenty ten will default back in.

    thanks for your reply ipstenu!
you mean disable it from the admin panel or just delete it from my “themes” folder? if it is from admin panel, i cannot access it at all, i got blank page…btw this is my folder tree (i want to use hybrid news):
    /wp-content
    /themes
    index.php
    /hybrid
    /hybridnews
    /twentyten

Switch to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

thank you all! it works! now i can choose the hybrid news theme and install it.
