 * I’m trying to lose the /wordpress in my URL. The site is boomonesoundsystem.com
 * I have read the [http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory](http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory)
   help page but when it comes to “move your wordpress core files”, I’m at a dead
   end. I changed the index.php but all that happened is I lost my site content,
   I wasn’t even able to login to my WP site any more and a “page not found” error
   showed up when I tried to go to the url to login.
 * On my FTP the wordpress folder that has all my files is there under boomonesoundsystem.
   com. Am I suppose to take all the files out of the wordpress folder and move
   them?
 * Is it the theme Atahualpa 3.5.3 that is giving me problems?

 * You need to re-read that page again **carefully**. I moved a similar site to
   root earlier today. Took 5 minutes and worked perfectly. Your theme is not the
   problem. You have to follow the instructions properly.
