WordPress in subdirectory, moved index.php to root, now long load time

  • Just finished a client project on Yahoo! Web Hosting. I know it’s a terrible choice but they wanted to stay with their old hosting provider.

I got all the kinks worked out with the site installed at travisaudubon.org/home. After everything was working I copied the index.php file to the root, changed the wp-blog-header path, re-activated a plugin that didn’t work (the slideshow on the front page) and everything displays properly. Only problem is that the page loading times are now extremely slow. They were fine before.

    Ideas?
