WordPress in subdirectory, moved index.php to root, now long load time
Just finished a client project on Yahoo! Web Hosting. I know it’s a terrible choice but they wanted to stay with their old hosting provider.
I got all the kinks worked out with the site installed at travisaudubon.org/home. After everything was working I copied the index.php file to the root, changed the wp-blog-header path, re-activated a plugin that didn’t work (the slideshow on the front page) and everything displays properly. Only problem is that the page loading times are now extremely slow. They were fine before.
