I have WordPress installed in a subdirectory (/wp). The site is live at http://lindenphotography.ca/ . I didn’t move the wordpress install to root, I just used the method of moving and editing the index.php file.
The is working great, but the problem is the search isn’t working. I get a 404 error because the search results page is coming up as http://lindenphotography.ca/wp/?s=test . The /wp/ should not be in the address.
I don’t know if this is a theme issue or a WordPress issue. The theme developer has told me to move the entire wordpress install to root which I don’t want to do because the site is live and functioning completely fine other than this one problem.
Is there a way to fix this problem without moving the whole wordpress install?
Thanks a lot.
