# WordPress Importer Issue

 * Hello,
 * I’m trying to get a large site I created with wordpress on the net. So far everything
   is working Ok, except with the WP Importer (for previous posts, etc…) When I 
   import the file I exported from the local site I get this message:
 * Import WordPress
 * Sorry, there has been an error.
    The uploaded file could not be moved to D:\Hosting\
   xxxxxx\html\livingdinos.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07.
 * Someone told me it has to do with file permissions and my Windows server won’t
   allow me to change individual folder permissions. If that is the case, should
   I try a Linux server?
