# WordPress hyperlink not working

 * Hello, just after update of wordpress to 4.2.1, the most recent version.
 * I select the text and make it hyperlink. It doesnot apply <a tag to it. When 
   i check source. Can someone confirm, its a wordpress bug…
 * as i had just updated in my blog, no module or plugin installed.

 * Dod you try disabling **all** your plugins & switching to one of the default 
   themes to see if that helps?

 * Actually i am using ultimate no follow, i just checked in forums, disabling that
   plugin fixes the issue.
 * I think wordpress should add the no follow thing to itself in editor.

 * yes also had this same issue and you are correct the ultimate no follow plugin
   is causing the problem…

 * I faced same issue.. and disabling ultimate unfollow resolved issue. Agree WordPress
   team should include it in next update

 * Well plugin update came and issue has been resolved now. Everyone must update
   the plugin and can turn it on again.
 * Working fine now after the plugin update.
